Thursdays in November – Zero Waste Focus Group
Are you interested in addressing your waste footprint? Want to share your ideas about waste reduction in the Yukon?
Zero Waste Yukon is hosting a focus group this November to gather unique perspectives on living waste-free in the Yukon and to help identify barriers to Zero Waste that currently exist. Our intention is to foster a greater sense of community and connect like-minded individuals.
We will be hosting sessions each Thursday this November, from 5:00-7:30. A meal will be provided, and families are welcome. We hope to begin promptly at 5:30, but come as early as 5:00 to get some food and mingle! Meetings are scheduled to wrap up at 7:00, however participants are welcome to stick around afterwards to continue the conversation and ask questions.

November 23 – Re:Design5 – The Craft Fair
11:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Old Fire Hall
Re:Design – the craft fair is all about artisans embracing creative reuse by working with discarded and salvaged materials to make new products for sustainable, ethical giving.
For it’s fifth year anniversary, the fair is focusing on artisans that interrupt the waste stream and use materials that would have gone to the landfill or shipped down south for recycling.More info on Facebook
